Reader,

It has been a hard day for me so far. I was woken up with by a little pain in my left hand. As you may have known, if you are my friend on Facebook, I am suffering from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. It is very hard to deal with and it stays with you for the rest of your life until you can afford surgery. I am not a big fan of cutting people, so meh.

Also, Marshie (Marshmallow the White Jeep Cherokee) is sick. She is in the repair shop (my dad's house) so I am now driving my old car Mitchie (Silver Mitsubishi Expo). Mitchie broke twice and my daddie brought her back to life. I love her to death, but she is unreliable. I am a Northsider and I don't know if she can handle the hills and the terrible roads. Its been two days since I started using her. So far, so good.

And to top it off, I came in five minutes late to work. there were rumors about my boss calling out little shit like that. So let's see if I'll get a talking-to.

It really is one of those days. But all is well and I can't wait to go out to see Comedy Night tonight! And maybe have a drink or two!

It can only get better!

Alright! Now that we got that sorted, let's start with the Salutations shall we?

My name is Rita. I am at the ripe age of 25 (turning 26 this year). Born and raised in the Philippines and is now living in one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean, St. Thomas.

NOTE: I may have some grammatical errors in this blog. English is not my native tongue.

On with it, I studied to be a psychotherapist. But due to lack of open posts, I am now a librarian of a small library in the local university. I'd like to think of myself as a cataloguer, a keeper and guardian of past knowledge. I recently acquired this job and it has been very good.

Also I am a musician, I play in a blues band. We call ourselves Turbidity. We have a steady gig at a bar near the ocean. It's literally right across the road.

I am also a crochet-enthusiast. I like playing with thread, and making lovely things with it.

I am a divorcee. But I am now in a relationship with a very lovely man. And I am content and happy by his side.
